Hi, my name is Khanh!

No need to guess, that’s Khanh pronounced as KAYN, nice to meet you!

I’m a recent M.S. Data Science graduate from UCSD, building on a strong foundation from my B.S. in Biochemistry at UC San Diego. For over five years, I’ve honed my professional experience as a biochemist, process engineer, and quality control analyst, working in biotech, medical device, and the petroleum industries. Throughout these experiences, I gravitated and specialized in process optimization and data analysis- especially as it was the best way for me to see and show the real impact of my efforts.

In my current role at Chevron, I take additional responsibility by looking to diagnose and identify procedural gaps in testing, data gathering, and compliance. My immediate goals come from process optimization (through modernizing SOP’s) where I aim to ensure traceability and instrument anomaly detection (Studying ASTM 2587!).

I am fully committed to applying my skills across industries, combining my scientific approach with data-driven strategies to tackle real-world problems. As such, I am eager to leverage my interest and attention to detail in data-focused roles. This website is an open invitation to view my experiences and portfolio as I continue to practice and improve as a data scientist.

I’ve recently gained an interest in machine learning techniques with regard to image vision techniques, check out my GitHub for latest projects!

March 2026 Note:

With my bandwidth freed up following graduation, expect this website to be under construction often! Apologies in advance if things are not up to date, the portfolio section is well outdated.
